Christmas arrived early for two law schools, in the form of generous donations.

Northwestern University School of Law received a $15 million gift from alumnus Neil Bluhm and the Bluhm Family Charitable Foundation—the largest single gift in its history. Meanwhile, alumnus Louis Ainsworth has pledged $1 million to his alma mater, the William Mitchell College of Law, to endow a chair in law and business.
