Poster Boy is free. One week after the street artist Henry Matyjewicz—a.k.a. Poster Boy—was sent to Rikers Island for one year for violating the terms of a plea agreement stemming from vandalism charges, an appellate judge has granted his motion for bail pending appeal.
Mr. Matyjewicz pleaded guilty on Dec. 16 in a deal in which he would perform 210 hours of community service and be sentenced to three years of probation. Gary (See Profile) by getting arrested twice during the three months he performed his community service—including at a subway station minutes after he left his allocution—and failing to show up at his sentencing.
