I get cranky in August, and this year’s end-of-summer rant is about social media. It is not that I am anti-social media, but I think social media is making us antisocial. I am a fan of the old-fashioned, face-to-face conversation. Remember those?

I know I will seem like a Luddite or some kind of curmudgeon. Bear with me. I am not belying the value of social media — I get it and I even benefit from it. I just think it might be too much of a good thing.
