Dechert has created an outsourcing and offshoring practice under the umbrella of its intellectual property department in order to take advantage of the growing desire of its clients to outsource certain noncore business functions.
The firm hired Vivian Maese, most recently the managing director for global workforce strategy and solutions at Morgan Stanley, to start up the practice and work with a team of existing Dechert attorneys from across a number of practice areas. She will be a partner in the firm’s New York office.
