A federal judge is allowing a private racketeering claim to proceed against a bank and payment processors involved with telemarketing schemes that are alleged to have fraudulently deducted money from people’s bank accounts.
However, U.S. District Court Judge Juan R. Sanchez of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania dismissed the claims that three major banks laundered money for the alleged scam.
