The sale of Philadelphia Media Network was a story of keeping it all in the family. From the group of local investors to the lawyers who represented both parties to the deal, the Philadelphia region was well represented.

The sale of The Philadelphia Inquirer , Philadelphia Daily News and Philly.com closed Monday for approximately $55 million from six local investors brought together by former Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell, who initially was reported to be a potential investor but has no financial stake in the deal.
