Two Philadelphia firms have announced plans to beef up their bicoastal financial practices with lateral hires from New York-based Dewey & LeBoeuf.
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has said it has brought aboard a five-lawyer finance group from Dewey led by Marshall Stoddard, the former head of Dewey’s bank and institutional finance practice, and Pepper Hamilton said Monday it is planning to open an office in Los Angeles with Gary Apfel, former co-chairman of Dewey’s consumer financial services group.
