Former New Jersey Attorney General Paula Dow, up for a Burlington County, N.J., judgeship, probably will face questions at her confirmation hearing about a whistleblower suit against her.

Bennett Barlyn, who claims he was fired as an assistant Hunterdon County, N.J., prosecutor on Dow’s watch as retribution for challenging a decision to drop corruption charges against local officials, is calling for the New Jersey Legislature to probe her on the allegations.
