Dewey & LeBoeuf made two raids on Cooley Godward Kronish’s Silicon Valley office last summer. First, Dewey grabbed former Cooley M&A powerhouse Richard Climan and partners Keith Flaum and Eric Reifschneider in July. A month later Dewey snatched two more Cooley partners, Jane Ross and John Brockland. The new recruits have already proven their worth. In September, Climan, Flaum, and Reifschneider, longtime advisers to eBay, Inc., led the tech company’s nearly $2 billion sale of its interest in Skype Technologies S.A.
