Despite Mediation, Judges Can't Agree On Candidacies

Justice Linda Yanez of the 13th Court of Appeals and Judge Susan Criss of Galveston's 212th District Court have something in common: They are both Democrats and sitting judges running for the Place 8 seat on the Texas Supreme Court. And neither Yanez nor Criss is happy about the other's decision to seek that seat, currently held by Justice Phil Johnson, a Republican.
