Houston lawyer Randolph Ewing has sued retired professional race car driver Tavo Hellmund of Austin, seeking his attorney’s fee: an interest in a Formula 1 racing project.

Ewing, a partner in Ewing & Jones, alleges in his June 14 petition that he assisted Hellmund in 2010 with the project, which includes plans for a Grand Prix race in Austin in 2012, but Hellmund has not compensated him for the work.
