Average general counsel compensation at large Texas companies ballooned in 2012, according to Texas Lawyer‘s annual Corporate Roster, which reports on general counsel pay packages.
Compensation for general counsel at 50 large Texas companies averaged $2,433,585 in 2012, up 10.7 percent when compared to an average of $2,198,109 for the chief legal officers at 51 large Texas companies in 2011.
