Litera is continuing its expansion of its new business intelligence group through outside acquisitions, announcing Wednesday that it is acquiring business intelligence platform Clocktimizer. Clocktimizer provides law firms with business intelligence data on matter management, budgeting, and pricing, aimed at helping them drive growth and increase client satisfaction.

Clocktimizer will pair with Litera’s January acquisition of Foundation Software Group, which captures customer relationship and experience management, to form the backbone of the company’s business intelligence group. Chris Vorderer, managing director of firm intelligence at Litera, noted in a press release that the company will be offering Clocktimizer’s data through Foundation’s enterprise data platform “while also accelerating plans to help law firms improve profitability.”
