There was a time when opening a legal tech conference by holding a mic up to an iPad would have been bizarre. But today, it was one of the most concrete examples of things returning to “normal” in the legal tech space.

ILTACON 2021, the first major legal tech conference to include an in-person component, was a welcome respite for the legal tech market after over a year of virtual gatherings. But while many were able to see each other for the first time in years, it was clear that fully returning to pre-pandemic days—or at least returning to what the market once knew—is still a long time coming (if at all).
