Over a decade ago, Jane Horvath became Apple’s first privacy lawyer, helping to build the tech company’s privacy team and law enforcement compliance functions. This week, she announced the next step in her career, joining Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher as partner and co-chair the of firm’s privacy, cybersecurity and data innovation practice group.

She will be joining the D.C. office as a new partner as the practice contends with increasingly complex privacy regulatory regimes stemming from new laws and evolving data privacy frameworks.
