On Tuesday, Austin-based legal recruitment and software startup Flo Recruit announced that it closed a $4.2 million seed round, hoping to fuel the expansion of its newest product, along with its reach within law schools.

The funding round was led by LiveOak Venture Partners and Moneta Ventures, with participation from Tau Ventures and Alumni Ventures, according to the press release. To be sure, LiveOak is no stranger to legal tech, having previously invested in companies like e-discovery provider DISCO and communication analysis startup LitLingo.
