Eighty five percent of the top 100 U.K. law firms have said that cyber threats represent one of the biggest obstacles to meeting or exceeding their ambitions over the next two years, as firms increase the amount they spend on cyber risks.

The report by PwC found that the top ten U.K. law firms had spent a combined £6.1 million on cyber security in 2023—up by 21% since 2022. Meanwhile, the top 26-50 firms upped their spend by 41% to £1 million, while the top 51-100 increased their spend by 67% to £396,000.
