Two of President Joe Biden’s assistant attorney general picks revealed their compensation from major universities as part of their nominations to serve in the U.S. Department of Justice.

Christopher Schroeder, Biden’s pick to lead DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel, reported earning $459,563 from Duke University, where he taught for decades as a law professor, according to a financial disclosure statement. Schroeder led the Biden transition team that oversaw the Justice Department and worked in senior positions at Main Justice under the Clinton and Obama administrations.
