A federal appeals court on Tuesday ordered the Justice Department to disclose previously redacted portions of Special Counsel Robert Mueller III’s report that reveal why certain people affiliated with former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign were not charged in the investigation.

A panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit determined that the information would give insight into how prosecutors and federal agents conducted a highly significant investigation, ruling the public interest in disclosure outweighs the privacy interests of Trump campaign officials examined by Mueller’s team.
