HISCOCK & BARCLAY (Syracuse, N.Y.): Richard Romanchik joins the firm’s intellectual property and technology practice area as counsel to the Rochester, N.Y., office. Romanchik will focus on patent applications in the electrical and mechanical arts; validity and infringement opinions; product and trademark clearances; patent interferences; agreements for licensing, consulting, nondisclosure, development, consortium and technology transfer; government contracts; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; litigation; and trademark and copyright practice. Previously, Romanchik was senior patent counsel for Honeywell International.
HAYNES AND BOONE (Dallas): Katherine Addleman joins the firm’s white-collar criminal defense practice group in the Dallas office. Addleman will focus on corporate civil and criminal misconduct defense, particularly litigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice. Previously, she was the regional director of the SEC’s Atlanta regional office.
