Brian Finch says we’re under attack, and he hopes to reshape federal law to fight back.
The Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman partner has lobbied for a Homeland Security Act of 2002 amendment that would increase government support for protection against cyberattacks. The amendment passed the U.S. House of Representatives in July. Finch has made himself an authority on cybersecurity, writing regular news columns and making public appearances. Now, in private practice, he works with clients such as the American Gas Association and FireEye Inc., a network security company. Finch joined Pillsbury from Dickstein Shapiro in May and is co-leader of Pillsbury’s global security practice. — Katelyn Polantz
