Attorney John Bursch, who argued in favor of state bans on same-sex marriage in the landmark Obergefell v. Hodges case last year, has gone solo, opening an appellate boutique in Caledonia, Michigan.

“It will be the smallest town in America with a Supreme Court practice,” Bursch said in an interview Monday. Caledonia is south of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
