People are attending concerts, sports and other events in larger numbers than ever before. While the last thing people want to do at an event is think about safety, the reality is that event venues pose unique risks to the public. This can be due to dangerous conditions at the venue, including spilled drinks, inadequate lighting, pyrotechnics or simply because the risk of accidents increases whenever large crowds gather together.

For example, this year, a 61-year-old man died in a tragic accident following a New York Rangers game at Madison Square Garden. The man reportedly was riding the railing of an escalator when he accidentally fell several stories to his death.
