Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman partner Aaron Dyer of Los Angeles is representing music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in connection with a sex trafficking probe that prompted federal agents to raid Combs’ residences in Los Angeles and Miami on Monday.

Responding to media inquiries about the raids, Dyer issued a statement that characterized the searches as an “unprecedented ambush” and a “gross overuse of military-level force.” Federal agencies including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security were executing search warrants in connection with a sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York, The Associated Press reported.
