Petitioner-mother brought an application to relocate the parties’ fourteen year old daughter to Los Angeles, Respondent-father objected to the relocation. The parents, whose names are redacted in court papers, are both professional actors and the mother’s acting career became increasingly successful over the last few years.
The mother initially left the child with the father while she was in Los Angeles filming the first season of one of the series she is working on but she testified that when she believed that the daughter was struggling emotionally and physically in the father’s care in Brooklyn she requested that the father allow the daughter to relocate to Los Angeles.
