With Winston & Strawn scrubbing away the existence offormer partner Jonathan Bristol, former North Carolina governor MichaelEasley’s biography as a corporate partner for McGuireWoods has been removedfrom the firm’s Web site while he takes a leave of absence.

William Allcott, a McGuireWoods spokesman and counsel inthe firm’s Richmond office, told The Charlotte Observer that Easley (pictured right) went toMcGuireWoods management several weeks ago to request a leave of absence, whichwas granted.
