Fenwick & West, a Silicon Valley firm with new offices in Manhattan, has hired former Paul Hastings lawyer James Koenig as a partner and co-leader of its privacy and cybersecurity practice in New York.
As part of a plan to offer services beyond the scope of a traditional law firm, Koenig said the firm is also hiring up to 10 non-lawyer privacy and security advisers to join others in the practice.
