Lisa Ann Gorab, president and managing partner of Wilentz, Goldman and Spitzer, is being remembered as an impactful figure in the bond counsel world, as well as a valued colleague and friend. She died on June 4 after an illness.

Gorab joined Wilentz in 1992, and became one of the state’s preeminent public finance attorneys, helping the firm establish that service offering. She ascended to managing partner at Wilentz—a first for that firm, and still something of a rarity for women in the profession.
