When Sedgwick elected a new chair recently, it was to replace Michael Tanenbaum, a lawyer who found himself in the unusual position of managing a large San Francisco-based firm out of its Newark branch.
“I took a lot of red-eyes back from the West Coast,” Tanenbaum said. “It might have been detrimental to my sleep, but it didn’t impact my practice in any way.”
