Normally it's a good sign for an antitrust plaintiff when an alleged co-conspirator opts to settle. But there's nothing normal about the litigation that Cascades Computer Innovation launched earlier this year against the defensive patent aggregator RPX Corporation and five mobile device manufacturers that use Google's Android operating system.
