A court-appointed receiver tasked with collecting assets from a nationwide commodities fraud scheme got the go-ahead to clawback another $12 million from brokers that profited from allegedly ill-gotten commissions.

U.S. District Judge Brantley Starr of the Northern District of Texas opened the gate for claims against the defendant brokers when he denied four defense motions in an opinion and order that was issued Wednesday.
