What You Need to Know

A Houston personal injury lawyer has been criminally charges by the U.S. Attorney's Office with conspiracy to commit mail fraud by stealing $2.4M from clients.
Attorney Clyde J. Moore and a former office manager were indicted for acts that took place from 2012-2017.
The indictment stems from an IRS investigation that in turn was initiated after the office manager sued Moore in civil court.

Alamdar S. Hamdani, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas, announced a Houston attorney and that lawyer’s former office manager were charged in federal court for conspiracy to commit mail fraud.

Attorney Clyde J. Moore, 62, and former office manager Mark A. Broussard, 63, made their initial appearances before U.S. Magistrate Judge Yvonne Ho.
