Vinson & Elkins will raise base salaries for U.S. associates and summer associates in response to Cravath, Swaine & Moore’s decision to raise its base pay for associates.
The salary hikes were announced June 9 in a memo to associates, counsel and summer associates from Vinson & Elkins chairman Mark Kelly and managing partner Scott Wulfe.
