A Radnor-based private wealth management firm announced Wednesday the hiring of an experienced financial attorney to lead its legal function.

Judith Stein was made trust counsel of The Haverford Trust Co. A spokesperson for the company said trust counsel is the equivalent to a general counsel role. It is not clear whom she replaced or why that person left. She started her role at the company earlier this month, according to the spokesperson. Stein reports to John Niles, vice president of trust and estate administration.
