After a Philadelphia court in October dismissed his claims that his now-defunct firm’s bank unlawfully prevented him from accessing financial records, attorney Ruben Honik and his counsel are appealing the order to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, court records show.

Counsel for Honik, one-half of the name partners of now-dissolved firm Golomb & Honik, challenged the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas’ Oct. 18 decision to dismiss his claim that the firm’s bank, Fulton Financial Corp., locked him out of the firm’s commercial bank accounts. The appeal was filed Nov. 17.
