The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is set to hear arguments in a series of cases that promise to be closely watched by not just attorneys, but the public at large.

The justices are set to begin their last session of 2021 by hearing arguments in nine cases, with four scheduled for Dec. 7 and five expected to be argued Dec. 8. The argument session, which is being held in-person, along with a live feed of the audio being streamed over YouTube, is set to be the last for outgoing Chief Justice Thomas Saylor, who is retiring from the bench at the end of the year.
