We have all read it, and we have all seen the memes parodying it.

The leaked Paul Hastings memo from this spring, listing “non-negotiable expectations” for junior attorneys, has generated lots of buzz among younger and older attorneys alike. Some saw no issue with the 10 bullet-point list and others decried that it embodies all that is wrong with the legal profession. As a reminder, the leaked excerpt can be found here.
