A federal judge weighing in on an insurance dispute predicted whether the Pennsylvania Supreme Court would hold that a regular use exclusion of an automobile insurance policy violates the state’s motor vehicle law.

In an April 23 opinion, U.S. District Judge Malachy E. Mannion of the Middle District of Pennsylvania predicted that the state’s high court would find that the regular use exclusion of an automobile insurance policy between two parties doesn’t violate Section 1738 of Pennsylvania’s Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law.
