A state bar committee on Thursday approved a waiver that will allow former executive director Leah Wilson to continue working for the agency in a consultant role into 2021.

Wilson resigned Jan. 17 after two years in the top post but has remained in active service to the bar, handling a range of projects from working on the agency’s annual report to acting as a “culture coach” in the office of the chief trial counsel.
