A California judge has sanctioned two plaintiffs lawyers after they admitted that they inflated the number of hours they worked as part of a fee request in a $2.5 million settlement.

In a tentative order Thursday, Orange County Superior Court Judge Kirk Nakamura wrote that attorneys David Yeremian and Jason Rothman must each pay $10,000 within 10 days. Nakamura had scheduled a status conference Thursday afternoon.
