Counsel at Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders on Monday removed a product liability and wrongful death lawsuit against LL Flooring Inc. f/k/a Lumber Liquidators Inc. and other defendants to California Central District Court. The complaint, filed by Hunt & Adams Inc. and Chambers & Noronha on behalf of Cami Stein, contends that defendants manufactured, sold and installed defective laminate wood flooring that contained an excess level of carcinogenic formaldehyde gas. The case is 2:22-cv-04736, Stein v. Lumber Liquidators, Inc. et al.
