Felix S. Lee of Fenwick & West has entered an appearance for Graybug Vision Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing medicines to treat retina and optic nerve diseases, and members of its board of directors in a pending securities lawsuit over the company’s proposed merger with CalciMedica Inc. The suit, filed Dec. 28 in California Northern District Court by Weiss Law on behalf of Stephen Bushansky, contends that the proxy statement filed in support of the transaction contains false information related to the CalciMedica’s financial projections, analyses and potential conflicts of interest faced by the company’s financial adviser, Piper Sandler & Co. The case, assigned to U.S. Magistrate Judge Sallie Kim, is 3:22-cv-09131, Bushansky v. Graybug Vision, Inc. et al.
