Another transactional partner from Allen & Overy is moving to a Big Law competitor. Josh Birenbaum, a former partner in A&O’s Los Angeles office, is moving over to Kirkland & Ellis, where he was previously an associate, the No. 1-ranked Am Law firm said Monday.

Birenbaum’s departure was the second partner move from A&O in Los Angeles announced Monday, with Sidley Austin touting the addition of energy transactions partner and former A&O office managing partner Andrea Lucan.
