SAN FRANCISCO — Intellectual property litigator Brett Schuman joined Goodwin Procter’s San Francisco office on Monday, as the firm’s second IP partner in the Bay Area. He departs Morgan, Lewis & Bockius just weeks after the firm’s acquisition of more than 500 lawyers from Bingham McCutchen in a merger-like transaction.

Schuman was Morgan Lewis’ San Francisco litigation practice group leader and deputy leader of its IP practice. He had previously led the firm’s Palo Alto litigation practice group as well.
