A pair of Atlanta attorneys has settled a wrongful death complaint for $1.6 million on behalf of a father killed while walking in a Sandy Springs grocery store parking lot.

Plaintiff lawyers struck the seven-figure agreement after uncovering additional insurance policies, but not before overcoming an insurer crossclaim and jury demand.
