A district attorney and a civil litigator are in the running to become the next superior court judge to join the Cherokee Judicial Circuit that services Bartow and Gordon counties.
The Judicial Nominating Commission of Georgia released its shortlist of candidates from which Gov. Brian Kemp is expected to fill a vacancy created by the appointment of the Judge Jeffrey A. Watkins to the Georgia Court of Appeals.
