The Post Office’s former general counsel left his current GC role at a fintech investment firm the day before he was due to give evidence at the ongoing Post Office Horizon inquiry, it has emerged.
Chris Aujard, who was interim general counsel at the Post Office between 2013 and 2015, officially resigned from a number of general counsel and/or secretary positions across different holding companies for fintech investment firm FNZ on April 23, according to various Companies House filings.
