Nabarro Nathanson’s Tim Herbert-Smith represented Aeroquip-Vickers on a £3m disposal of a 15-acre former industrial site in Redditch, West Midlands. Catesby Estates, which was represented by Wragge & Co’s Susan Bennett and Peter Thorne, bought the site.

Hammond Suddards, led by Gary Watson, represented the Mirror Group on the redevelopment and letting of its former premises, 33 Holborn, London EC1. Clifford Chance acted for the Corporation of London, from whom a new lease was obtained on behalf of Alice Developments, a subsidiary of the Mirror Group. Anderson Consulting, which is to move into the building, was represented by Michael Wright of Field Fisher Waterhouse. The value of the lease is rumoured to be about £1m per week.
