Florida International University College of Law argued its way to second place at the 2015 American Bar Association’s National Negotiations Finals in Houston.

The FIU team beat more than 110 law schools from around the globe for top honors and was the only Florida team in the finals based on simulated negotiations. Omar Ali-Shamaa, a third-year law student, and Kathleen Pfahlert, a second-year law student, represented FIU in the competition.
