The University of Iowa College of Law and the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School will henceforth accept high-performing undergraduates who have not taken the Law School Admission Test.

The American Bar Association in August adopted accreditation rules allowing law schools to admit up to 10 percent of their class under such circumstances but hasn’t been tracking the number of schools taking advantage of the policy, according to Barry Currier, managing director of accreditation and legal education.
